Hey..I just found this section..guess I should visit the index more often....

Go to your local big orange box or equivalent and purchase some commercial stump killer. Ask the salesman for his reccomendation on what they carry. Give your local garden supply a call and see what they carry for commercial stump killer product. You've already drilled the holes so just fill them up with the proper stuff. Folk lore only works on vampires.

I need to do this too, to a poplar tree some uninformed individual planted in the parking strip in front of the house - it has completely destroyed the sidewalk. After doing some research, I found with trees that send up suckers, you can use a stump killer, but to expedite the process, keep hitting any suckers that come up from the roots with concentrated Round-Up. The thing will eventually die...
